Read Between the Lies



Understanding the deception in the News

To understand what is going on in the world, the majority of people generally read newspapers or watch TV , because for them it's an easy available resource. Most of this news comes from a few agencies like Reuters, Associated Press and AFP. The media outlets normally don't have their own investigative reporters for news gathering, as it is to expensive for them. Most people assume the news agencies tell the truth, and factually they do! It's to risky to lie continuously about everything as every lie have to become a new "reality" that they also have to believe in. Further lies often need new lies to back up them. It's more easy to deceive with the truth by leaving out key elements of the story, or by creative writing and let the reader to draw his own conclusions, or by distingue themselves from the situation. An example of this last point is exposed here, where Reuters has changed his formulation about the Holocaust as hard fact: "The Nazis killed some 6 million Jews during their 1933-1945 rule." to: "Historians say six million Jews were killed in the Nazi Holocaust. Regarding this widely-accepted view, .......". By distinguishing themselves from the news, the news agencies can easily play innocence from spreading false propaganda when contradicting facts are exposed. Many countries have limit the freedom of speech on the Holocaust, and jail people who even doubt about it, what is actually is against basic human rights and scientific reasoning, as every fact can stand on it's own feed and doesn't be supported by law. Lies that are told through the media are generally big lies, because the population generally don't fall for small lies, as they easy can be understood and revealed. Those propaganda aspects are already for a long time understood as by Adolf Hitler who once said: "Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it." Small lies are only told by individuals like politicians, scientist, historians, bankers, journalists, and if one of those lies is discovered they can easily sacrifice one individual (useful idiots) so the rest of the show can go on.

Ninety-five percent of the work of the intelligence agencies around the world is deception and disinformation, which is widely propagated in the mainstream media creating an accepted version of events. Journalists don’t even raise the simplest questions, those who differ are labeled as crazy.

To understand the real news you must understand the major lies, as they are the key to the truth. Further you must be aware of what people are factually saying, because there the tongue slips, it speaks the truth. Maybe many of those lies seem to be innocent or irrelevant to your personal life, but these are not, as they are all part of a broader agenda with as goal: "power and control". The lies shall finally quietly rip away your possessions and freedom, while you are watching their propaganda on TV. Lies can drag you as soldier into a war, where you become another useful idiot who put his life at risk. At this moment there is an information war going on for control of the world, and it's like a boxing match in a dark room. However, this is an intellectual fight, so if you are an intellectual lightweight, you are going to get beaten badly. It's a masquerade party where is a lot of double crossings. Even the people in the war do not exactly know who is on what side, and many people like to walk on both sides of the fence as long as possible. Inevitably, there will come a time when they have to choose a side. Then they have two alternatives. One is to go to the winning side and crush their opponent. The other is to go the losing side, take advantage of the situation to gain a power position on that side and go against the winning side. The latter is typically more dangerous but the rewards are great, what can seduce a person. Further the fight involves  blackmailed victims and useful idiots. The war is complex and giving somebody blind trust is asking for trouble, everybody need to be investigated, myself included. People who are not willing to educate themselves better can keep quiet and not interfere, instead of talking like a brainless head. My information gives a good overview from recent news and some historical events like the flu, global warming, banking crisis, gold, 9/11 WTC attacks, 7/7 London bombings, communism, holocaust, moon landings, organ trafficking. After you understand some issues try to discuss them with other people, but don't waist your time in trying to convince idiots. If your house is on fire you don't want to save the garbage bag anyway, try to save the more valuable items first. Try first to educate people who are willing to listen.

I have a supply of goods and basic necessities in case something terrible happens—natural or man-made—that will carry me for a couple of months. --- I like physical gold and silver. I look to gold as a primary hedge. If you can come out of this holding gold, you'll be in a position where you'll be able to take advantage of some extraordinary investment opportunities that will follow. With inflation, real estate is usually a pretty good bet. It tends to hold its value over time. There may be periods of illiquidity, though, and it's not portable. Neither of those limitations is an issue with gold. Maybe gold will become the black market to support U.S. economic activity. It certainly would be the area that people will try to transfer their assets to as time goes along.

    You see people now as gold gets to a new high saying, "Oh my goodness, I bought at $200, and I can sell out at $1,100 making a good profit." What people don't realize is that they haven't made a real profit. What they've done is retained the purchasing power of the dollars that they invested in gold, and they've lost proportionately the purchasing power of the amounts left in dollar-denominated paper assets over the same time. Gold is a long-term wealth preserver. Again, where many people are used to an investment environment where they can buy a stock, make a quick profit and then sell, with gold you need to hold on for the long haul as an insurance policy, not as a quick investment.

  • Palladium is a rare and lustrous silvery-white metal and a member of the platinum group, that was discovered in 1803 by William Hyde Wollaston. World demand for palladium increased from 100 tons in 1990 to nearly 300 tons in 2000. The global production of palladium from mines was 222 metric tons in 2006 according to USGS data. It takes processing of many metric tons of ore to extract just one troy ounce of palladium. However, the mine production could still be profitable, depending on current metal prices, as other metals are produced together: nickel, copper, platinum and rhodium. In the run up to 2000, Russian supply of palladium to the global market was repeatedly delayed and disrupted because the export quota was not granted on time, for political reasons. The ensuing market panic drove the palladium price to an all-time high of $1100 per troy ounce in January 2001.

  • Rhodium metal is, is a rare, silvery-white, noble, hard transition metal and a member of the platinum group. Although the material is hardly known by the common people. It called the ultimate symbol of wealth. Rhodium is found in platinum ores and is used in alloys with platinum and as a catalyst. It's density is 12.41 g/cm³. Rhodium was discovered in 1803 by William Hyde Wollaston, soon after his discovery of palladium. The industrial extraction of rhodium is complex as the metal occurs in ores mixed with other metals such as palladium, silver, platinum, and gold. It is found in platinum ores and obtained free as a white inert metal which is very difficult to fuse. The main exporter of rhodium is South Africa 82% followed by Russia 12%. The annual world production of this element is only about 25 tons and there are very few rhodium-bearing minerals. Rhodium's typical historical price is about $1,000/troy oz, but in recent years, it has increased to about $4500/troy oz. In 2008 the price briefly rose above $10,000 per ounce. The 3rd quarter 2008 economic slowdown pushed rhodium prices sharply back below $1,000 per ounce, however, bouncing up to $2,750 by early 2010 (over twice the gold price). Due to the extremely small concentrations of the element in the earth, it would probably not be feasible to mine by itself, even at a value of $10,000 per ounce. While Rhodium prices may vary, it is unlikely that a large new source will be found. Could this lead to a prolonged shortage and the return of high prices? Not only is the silver unrecoverable, but the demand cannot be stopped by higher prices. Silver is used in such tiny quantities, and in most cases, there is no substitute. Today, the world mines about 680,9 million ounces (21,000 ton) of silver (2008). Silver is still cheap compared to gold: 60 ounces of silver being the equivalent to an ounce of gold. Why?

  • The main reason that gold and silver are both relatively cheap, is that gold and silver are no longer being used as money in daily transactions by the general population or anywhere in the world. Before the world went "off the gold standard", many economists wrongly predicted that the price of gold would immediately drop, since it would no longer be used as money. The reduced monetary demand, they assumed, meant that the price would drop. They were proved wrong almost immediately, as gold moved up from $35/oz., in 1971 to over $850/oz. by 1979. The economists were proven wrong because people back then recognized the real situation--that dollars were defaulted contracts and fraudulent pieces of paper. But ultimately, the economists were proved correct as seen in the prices today. Today, few people own gold and silver, and most people have forgotten the essential reasons why gold and silver are money. Today, there is not a single nation in the world where the people use silver in daily transactions. Today, there is not a nation in the world on a gold standard. The high value of gold makes gold more useful to storey value, and thus, more desired, and in greater demand. The greater demand also causes a greater value! Although it is a circular answer, a circular argument, it is also explainable as a positive feedback loop in real life. So why is gold more valuable than silver? It's more valuable because it is more valuable. I know, it sounds like such a bad answer, but how else do you explain it? If you want to "store value", and if you have a lot of money, you'd pick the most convenient form, that which weighs less. And what if everyone else picks gold, too? Then there is increased demand for gold, and reduced demand for the nearest real alternative, silver. The problem is that a lot of the world's gold has ended up in rather large hoards, owned by the central banks. Banks prefer gold over silver, because a large supply of silver is rather heavy and bulky and more costly to store, by comparison. When the world was using gold as money, banks really disliked silver, and have tried to prevent the use of silver as money. Their reason is that if silver is prevented from being used as money, it reduces the money supply, and thus, makes their gold more valuable by comparison. And also, the banks don't like to have to process and store the heavier silver.
